From the National Weather Service In New Orleans

Here is an update concerning widespread freezing temperatures expected late tonight through Thursday morning.
Still expecting temperatures to reach between 32 and 28 degrees for counties and parishes under a Freeze Warning early Thursday morning.
Wind chills are already near or below freezing across much of the area. It is possible that wind chills may reach the mid to upper 20's early Thursday morning.
Still expecting potential impacts to crops and other sensitive vegetation.

WHAT: SIGNIFICANT RISK of Freezing Temperatures

WHEN: Late tonight into Thursday morning

WHERE: All areas away from the immediate coast of southeast LA and also excluding the New Orleans metro area (see map below)

CONFIDENCE: HIGH confidence

Possible/Expected Impacts:
Temperatures will fall into the upper 20's to lower 30's Thursday morning. Temperatures this low could result in damage to citrus and other sensitive agricultural crops.
Wind chill values in the 20's will impact those (people or pets) outside for prolonged periods overnight tonight.
