The Criminal Investigation Division (C.I.D.) is responsible for conducting follow-up investigations regarding calls for service from the public.
The C.I.D. is comprised of three subdivisions:

- Narcotics Investigations – responsible for investigating crimes involving the trafficking of illegal and illicit drugs and narcotics.
The C.I.D. is comprised of ten detectives who are assigned to different subdivisions, but periodically work together when additional personnel are needed on larger cases.
