Public Shooting and Training Opportunities
The St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office Range & Training Facility conducts combat & tactical level training for not only officers of the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office, but often times provides free training for the public as well. Since its dedication in 2006, the range has conducted public training on Hunting & Boating education, Rape and Aggression Defense courses, Public Shooting days, and Children’s camps.
