The St James Parish Sheriff’s Office will have a Louisiana Hunter Education Field Day Course on Oct 22 from 5:30PM till 10:30PM.
Before attending a Hunter Education Field Day, Students must complete the Home Study Hunter Education Course. The Louisiana Field Day Qualifier Voucher must be printed and presented to the Instructor.
Hunter Education is mandatory for anyone born on or after September 1, 1969.
Older hunters going out of state may also be required to have certification depending on that state regulation.

These courses are free of charge and are open to ages 10 years old, up to adults. Attendees must be 10 years old or older on date of class.
