On Thursday December 11th, 2014, Lionel Felton, Jr. (DOB 4/25/1967, B/M, 8124 Pleasant Hill Street, Convent, LA) was arrested by the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office. Lionel Felton, Jr. was arrested after the Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant on his residence that resulted in the finding of both heroin and crystal meth. At the time of the search warrant, Lionel Felton, Jr. was the only individual inside of the residence. Lionel Felton, Jr. was charged with LA R. S. 40:967/AC Possession with intent to distribute a Schedule II controlled dangerous substance (crystal meth); LA R. S. 40:966/AC Possession with intent to distribute a Schedule I controlled dangerous substance (heroin); LA R. S. 40:1023 Possession of drug paraphernalia; LA R. S. 14:95E Illegal carrying of a dangerous weapon. He is currently incarcerated at the St. James Parish Jail awaiting bond.
