On Thursday, November 28th, 2013 at approximately 11:00 p.m., the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call regarding a large fight at Club 7002 in Convent, LA. Upon arriving at the bar, deputies discovered one individual had been stabbed in the back. Acadian Ambulance was immediately dispatched to the scene and transported the victim to St. James Hospital in Lutcher, LA. The victim, Christian Allen (age 25, Paulina, LA) died of his injuries at the hospital. Detectives with the sheriff’s office have arrested and charged two individuals for the murder of Christian Allen. Kyriene Vallery (DOB 03/24/1991, 6268 Convent Station Lane, Convent, LA) was arrested and charged on November 29th, 2013 with LA R.S. 14:30.1 second degree murder. Walter Scott, III (DOB 02/21/1986, 9214 Central Project Street, Convent, LA) was arrested and charged on November 29th, 2013 with LA R.S. 14:24:30.1 principal to second degree murder. Both subjects are currently being held in the St. James Parish Jail awaiting bond. The sheriff’s office is continuing its investigation regarding the murder.
